The Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association, ESUs, Nebraska Superintendents, and school district leaders across the state joined together in the 19-20 and 20-21 school years on two powerful collaborative projects that provided timely assistance to schools across the state. NRCSA and ESUCC subsequently published Considerations for Reopening Schools in late summer, 2020 and followed it with websites on Remote Learning Resources in winter, 2020. This session will review the robust collaborative effort and shared leadership approach initiated by NRCSA’s Jack Moles and other key Nebraska education leaders to accomplish these ambitious, time-sensitive projects. The session will share strategic leadership lessons derived from the intensive professional networking conversations sparked by these efforts.
