Join the Nebraska Alliance of Child Advocacy Centers and the Women’s Fund to learn about evidence-informed practices that may be implemented in schools to help students prevent sexual abuse and sexual violence. Presenters will discuss how schools can provide age-appropriate, inclusive education to students regarding sexual abuse and violence, including concepts such as safe & unsafe touch, dating violence, sex trafficking, sexual harassment, and rape. This session will also include a discussion of how school staff can provide appropriate support to students who disclose experiences of sexual violence, as well as resources available to help reduce the risk of child sexual abuse in our state.
