Nebraska ASCD is dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. One strategic goal of Nebraska ASCD is to serve as a resource and advocate for Nebraska educators on education policy and legislation. During this session Nebraska ASCD Board Members will facilitate a conversation with a panel of professionals from the Nebraska Legislature to share ideas on how to have your voice heard with policy makers. Highlights from education-related legislative topics from the 2021 Nebraska legislative session will also be shared. This session is for administrators who are new to the legislative advocacy process and for those who have had experience.
